Hi. I've been tinkering with my Wii since its softmods are really old, so I upgrade them to have it up to date. Trying some games after it, I've noticed that Ghost Squad (NTSC-J) has issues with music and voices that doesn't work anymore (assuming some problem with audio streaming). Before all this upgrading, it worked without issues so I don't know if there's something missing with its configuration.

Thanks in advance.

I'm using an USB HDD, loading the games on a NTFS partition with USB Loader GX 3.0 r1281. As I've said, the game ran without issues before upgrading the softmods.

OK for the syscheck report.

did you change the game language in the game settings?

have you tested the NTSC-U version?

It's weird, but I reset the game (by the Home option and the button on the console itself) and that fixes the issue. What I've noticed is that at first the strap warning is in japanese like the game, but after reset it changes to the system language (the Zapper screen is still in japanese). Not even changing game language in USB Loader GX fixes, only resetting the game does. The USA version worked outright without resetting, but still is weird. Thanks for your help.
