Quite often the around here the question gets asked about pixel art, be it people wanting to do it, wanting to hack games with it or simply being curious. Saw the following talk and thought it worth sharing on that basis.
While a lot of it is about not being constrained by limitations any more there is still some, and even then what they choose to be without still places you in the realms of things still possible on the GBA (has some about a game in that) and DS.
It is probably not going to teach you pixel art or a method you can immediately use but consider it a part of your education.
