GBA mod help

Ok so I only have 1 GBA SP left and I traded my other one for a original GBA and was wondering if I can switch the screens around so I can have a backlit screen in my original and have the AGB 001 screen in the SP. Is that possible or no?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place I'm new and I don't know where to put it.

I'm trying to mod my GBA SP AGS-001 [Front Light]. I bought a backlit screen. And it is not working. It is possible to mod it ?

I've tried w/ my AGB 40 pin.


I have no idea the correct welding points. The seller doesn't respond me at all.

As far as I know, an ags101 screen needs a 101 motherboard. Since your so is a 001, it's motherboard will not be compatible with an ags101 screen. The motherboards must match. The 32/40pin adapters are for the original gba (agb-001), not the gba sp.

So I have the 40 pin adaptor. I have destroied de P1 weld point. It is possible to connect the adaptor w/ P2 weld point ?
