EDIT: SOLVED!!! 7/16/2022** Bad IPS LCD screen. Replaced the LG screen with a Topoly and problem fixed!
So I did quite a few things to my GBA. It is a 32 pin model. As beautiful as this masterpiece, it was giving me some issues after I did the mods. I've built many but this was the first I've encountered like this.
Symptoms:
- Washed Out Colors
- Fuzzy lines sometimes
- Black screen sometimes
- Screen freezes at start up sometimes
Mods I did:
- FunnyPlaying IPS V2 LCD kit (LG LCD)
- CleanAmp amplifier 1.2V + 1 watt speaker
- De-hum/De-hiss Kit
- Blue LED
- CleanJuice 1500MaH USB-C rechargeable battery
- Tactile Shoulder Buttons
So far I've cleaned all contacts and pins with IPA. Reseated the ribbon cable numerous times, adjusted the trim pot with no luck. I've contacted HandHeld Legends. But still waiting for his response as they only reply once a day I guess.
Curious if anyone had the same or similar issue and if they found a fix for their's. Thankyou in advance.
