Hacking Gateway3ds to Luma 3ds

So I just updated my gateway emunand not knowing that the latest firmware isnt supported and now i'm left with a black screen whenever I try to go into gateway mode. After this I found out about Luma3ds and was trying to figure out how to get into this scene but was left with too many questions.

What is the best way to move over to Luma 3ds with my saves from my gateway emunand? Not too familiar with this stuff so I'll accept all the details I can get (Btw my sysNAND is on 4.3.0)

I hope I'm wrong but you won't be able to convert your gateway saves until gateway supports 11.3, for it seems you need access to the gateway game to convert them.

Other than that I believe you should be fine by following Plailect's guide, you can opt for restoring your current emunand but I did it from 11.2 not 11.3 emunand, so have your nand backup ready.
