@cvskid There has been a public Reinand beta build that supports 10.3 out for a few days now... rxTools twitter account confirmed they'll have it ready in their official 3.0 release...

Gateway could have proven their incompetence at best if they failed to catch up.
That is nice to hear. Everyone will have 10.3 emunand sooner or later. Was checking to see if any cfw users would flip their lid over a comment like that. Good for the whole 3ds community in the long run.

Lol, Gateway will never be able to please you guys.

Anyway, they have the best CFW out there, best support and packed with a TON of features and that's all that matters.

Wait... What? They have .3DS support and cheats... That's about it (And hell, NTR supports cheats).

Someone succesfully makes a breakthrough, releases it to the public and Gateway is the first to jump on it, adapt it to their crappy flashcart and release it as their own work, then noobs come praising Gateway for "their amazing work" when they only ported someone else's real work...

And when they finally make something of their own... of course it is closed source so no one else can freaking have it...

Yo @Duckbuster you can't post links to Gateway's website here.

Just post the changelog, we can find the files ourselves.

CakesFW also has been updated to support 10.3 in the last couple of days.

I thought this was the kind of behavior we are used to seeing in the flashcard industry? Gateway takes other findings, and stays closed source, DSTwo+ didn't make their own 3DS player, only emulates a gateway causing bricks, sky3ds keeps sending out card revisions. All of them are terrible in their own ways.

and perfect signature and region patching

CFW can support region patching, though it's only useful for cartridge games (Since making .cias region-free and fw spoofed takes no effort).

As of now, the only features that GW has over CFW are .3DS support (Which I see no use for. Some people enjoy not installing .cias, but I don't have enough games for that to matter) and cheat support (Again, not something I'd use).

Don't get me wrong, it is nice that all the users benefits out of the community work but Gateway leeches out of other's work, present it as their hard work and then anything they may make themselves will be always in the shadows because they won't help anyone else than their own pockets.

Gateway could have been first, and a few days later the lesser quality CFW's would have the same thing.

In the end, it doesn't matter shit who is first. What matters is QUALITY. And Gateway has it.

How so? In what way does Gateway beat CFWs in quality? I'm honestly interested in what makes Gateway a higher quality than CFW.
