Well I could confirm this also, my brother works at GameStop, they just added the handheld to the system, and preorders start on the 29th.

While you all wait a good 1 1/2 years for a new revision, I'll be enjoying the original 3DS. If I want a newer revision, I'll trade in my old one at a place like Gamestop for a discount on the newer one.

I will wait for Lite (or even more) just because the army is gonna keep me for 3 years, which means I will be back with flashcards even if I don't want to, I will buy games though, I will use the same technique I use now, play them with flash cards, if I like them, I buy them\plan to buy them, if they are shovelware, off they go
