Hacking Gamecube backups multiplayer not working.

I'm currently running my Gamecube backups with nintendont through usb loader gx and everything works fine,but one problem I notice is that for some reason only player 1 controller works when I try to plug in a 2 nintendo gamecube controller it doesn't work. I don't have this problem with my Wii backup so I assume the problem is with nintendont. How do I fix this problem. I only tested on two gamecube backups which were Super Smash bros melee and Mario kart double dash.

EDIT nevermind all I had to do was enable gamepad to 4 I had set to 1 problem solved.
