I will admit I was shocked that Undertale was awarded nothing, especially when it comes to games for impact. I hadn't even heard of Her Story until the awards came about but I can't take a stop anywhere on the Internet without seeing mention of Undertale.

I have to wonder did her story simply win because of the scandel that there were 30 judges and only 1 was female http://kotaku.com/why-people-are-upset-over-whos-judging-the-video-game-a-1745801957 two of the judges actually pulled their name out because of it

Her story is a very good game. It's not like any game I've played personally. I'm not surprised at all to see it win an award. If it was rigged that sucks, but this great game got some publicity, for better or worse. Admittedly, I played none of the other nominees for narrative. If you like solving mysteries and you like binge watching youtube videos, you should like the way it plays. And I'm totally with you^ on Bloodborne winning art direction.

Wow...I was just hoping for rocket league and splatoon to win to hint to other developers that milking the semi-realistic franchises over and over isn't what people want. Glad to see they actually won. Same for witcher 3, btw. :-)

Can't comment on things like games for impact, narrative or games for impact (wtf does that term even mean?).
