Stop crying and search around the boards, you'd probably find the solution to your problem. If it were me, I'd try different fomats (try fat16 and fat32), sometimes gba mode is finicky to format. Also when you're using the latest u-disk manager, you are sure you are adding games under the GBA tab correct?

didnt work...

Hi,
I recently get my own G6 Lite 4Gb and everything works fine except in the GBA menu when I proceed into "My Games", it pauses at the "Press any key to enter" screen. I would push a button... nothing. I am using the latest loader and U-DISK manager (if this helps). I would appreciate some advise!

Thnx,
G6 User

juggernaut911: I would suggest you let everyone know each step your doing in order to try and get a GBA game to work.

1) You mention your using the latest Loader/U-Disk Manager but you've not mentioned if your G6 Lite is an English or Chinese version (I understand 1.6C is the latest Loader for the English version and 1.6D for the Chinese)

2) Are .nds files working OK or is the problem only with .gba files?

3) Are you transferring just one .gba file or multiple (I would suggest starting with one file first and get that working)?

4) Do you see any errors when you transfer the .gba file using U-Disk Manager or is everything OK?

5) Has this ever worked or are you trying this for the first time?

There are too many other questions to ask. Again, perhaps you can list exactly what you are doing and then maybe someone can help out. Also as already suggested use the search facility to see if others have the same problem.

I AM using the Englich G6 with the latest CORRECT loader.

.NDS files show and work fine. in fact, the hole NDS mode is fine

I use the manager and transfer 1 .gba game at a time.

no errors show up.

the GBA games screen has NEVER worked on my G6... >_>

I can get .gba files to load via "My Card", but this way doesnt save.
as said, this is the screen I cannot get past: http://www.uploadfile.info/uploads/a371848fc2.bmp
I have used MPutillity and it didn't help (tho it did make the cool blinking LED!!

)
it IS FAT currently

hope this helped...

*update:
I tried to take out the "start" file in the GBA folder (the start is the screen I cannot get past). no success... just has a subsitute.

It's also possible your G6 is defective. Quite ironically, the same thing happened to my GBA Movie Player. While the NDS works perfectly, it won't run in the GBA mode (a defective unit).

    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.

    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.

    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.

I even explained to him about file sizes multiple times...
