I stuck on the load screen after start the game (the one you see after start the game from the home menu), the "good" thing is now the screen have flash green.
-snip-

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

OK I figured something out. Not sure if this will work for others, but: Turn off your 3ds by holding down the power button, then turn it on again. Then wait until the 3ds home screen has loaded COMPLETELY. Then open bootntr. Then open Awakening.
The good news: It gets rid of the loading screen. The bad news: The hack doesn't work (for me).
I already got rid of the loading screen, the hack just didn't work, so I decided to use the US version of Awakening xD

I give to me the file as virus/malware.
It does? Look back some pages (I think it was 52), then you should see my post, where I asked about the loading screen. You'll see it's the same file and it said nothing when I download it. (Still weird..)

Edit: I re-downloaded and it says the same thing now. Well, but I don't have any malware or a virus on my laptop, so.. I guess, it's your choice if you use it. I just can say it worked and yeah o:

@UnassumingVenusaur

Was it required to properly S-Support Chrom and his marriage option before Chapter 11 to have them properly married in the mod? I'm not sure why, but I was playing roulette with Sumia, Cordelia, MyMU and Frederick, while instead, despite having support ranks with all of them (and A-Support with Cordelia), it automarried to the generic maiden.

In a similar manner, because I saved over the file without knowing that he'd marry some random village girl, is it possible to edit his marriage option? I've not continued the game since saving when the option arose after Chapter 11 finished. I'd really like to not have to restart, but if there's no way for me to give him a proper significant other, I guess I'll have to...

I don't know if this is the appropriate question to ask on this thread but could anyone assist me? I'm attempting to add an s-support between Olvia&Panne and I've been able to change their Support Type from medium to slow in Nightmare 2.0 Character editor module. I have a script prepared but I just don't know how to implement it.

No. You should check your game; most likely Chrom will be s-supported with someone that's not in the original game coding. Because of the way chapter 11 works it treats every "non canon" marriage as if he married the village girl - which, in fact, he does not. It just shows you the wrong scene. Chrom's status screen and support log should show you the correct partner he married instead - which is either Cordelia, MyMU oder Frederick in your case, since all of them do not have the necessary skripts inserted to show up in chapter 11. Lucina also will get the correct stat modifiers and in case of MaMU oder Cordelia you of course get the second child as well. - ReReading again since you had Cordelia up to A-support she should be Chrom's wife.
I for myself managed to change the FeMU-skript for chapter 11 so instead MaMU shows up but other than that I could not tell you how to get chapter 11 events for "non canon" marriage partners since in involves a lot of actual coding and variables and stuff I really don't get. Someone managed to kind of insert Cordelia, but not completely? And unfortunately I don't remember who it was - I think it was @DeathChaos25 ?

How were you able to edit Chapter 11 and swap MaMU in for FeMU? I'd like to do this exact thing in my game but have no idea how to go around it.

How were you able to edit Chapter 11 and swap MaMU in for FeMU? I'd like to do this exact thing in my game but have no idea how to go around it.

It's actually rather simple. You need to edit two files for it to work properly.

The first file is in the scripts folder: 011.cmb. Open it with a hex editor. Search for the bytes 83 76 83 8C 83 43 83 84 81 5B 8F 97. Now you have to change the last two bytes - 8F 97- to 92 6A every time. The cutscenes will now work for MaMU instead of FeMU - only there are no dialogues.

For this, go to m -> E(or U, depending on where you live). The file you nee is 011.bin.lz. Decompress it using FEAT to get a message archive you can edit. Since you already have the gay patch installed all you need to edit are the parts starting with MID_012_OP2, since the other instance - MID_011_ED2 - already has dialogue inserted for MaMU marriage.
Look for the text beginning with MID_012_OP2_プレイヤー女. You can either copy it and insert new text for MaMU like I did - which was nothing more than unneccessary work. Or you can simple change all the FeMU texts. To do this you need to change every gender indicator from F to M. (Sound effects, etc. You'll find them.) Also you need to change to . You should also read the dialogues themselves and check if there are any parts that need to be rewritten - I personally found some needed changing so I changed 'em.
You can compare to the MID_011_ED2 section of the archive and look at the differences between the MaMU and FeMU parts to check what exactly needs changing.

If you did everything correctly all cutscenes and dialogues should play like they are supposed to - featuring MaMU if he's married to Chrom.

In the same way you can change chapter 13 to work with MaMU marriage. Look for the 013.cmb file, change FeMU for MaMU. Look for the 013.bin.lz message archive, change FeMU to MaMU...
I don't remember if there are other instances where you'd need to edit something to make it fit the MaMU marriage but I guess they'll all work pretty much this way.

It'd probably be far easier to use Fates Script to decompile 011.cmb, then edit from there. I managed to add a proposal scene for Gaius, though his sprite doesn't show up. However, I can't seem to add a Gaius scene with baby Lucina - the game plays the Olivia scene instead, when before it played village maiden. I think properly adding new events is limited by what we know of 3DSFE eventing at the moment.

Probably, I guess. For me it worked the way I did it and I didn't know about Fates Script back then. I guess I'll use it in the future - if I need such stuff again. Thanks for telling me about it!
Too bad your Gaius edits don't work completely. D: I hope you get it to work someday!

Awesome, thanks! I can't wait to give it a try later on, my game is currently stalled because of this and being able to edit it on my own gives me a lot of freedom. I suppose the other scene that need to change would be Lucina's judgement? It's so difficult having a plot relevant dramatic family, lol.

Yes, I guess.
And I totally understand you. It annoyed me SO MUCH that the scenes just didn't work as they were supposed to and I really didn't want to play anymore without fixing it. It really is difficult... but worth it!

Alright, so I've got 011.bin.lz and FEAT gives me 011.bin and 011.txt. I assume the part I am editing/writing stuff in is the .txt file? Do I have to do something with the .bin as well? Every time I try to do anything with the files it reverts my txt back to the (hack's) original. Basically my issue here is, well, I have no idea how to rebuild it back to 011.bin.lz so that it keeps the changes I made or if I'm even doing it right in the first place...

Edit the .txt file. And when you're done editing, drag and drop the .txt file into FEAT.

Well, I feel like an idiot. I was throwing both files back into FEAT (guess it's what I'm used to from other projects I've done where no text editing was required).

Problem is that now I can't actually get it to work in the game. All the names line up in the script and text (MID_012_OP2_プレイヤー男, PlayerMan), which I imagine should link the cmb and bin.lz (checked both the .bin and the .txt inside to make sure my edits stuck and they did) together and get the script text to fire in the game? But instead I get MaMu walking up to Chrom, Chrom looking at Lucina illustration with no dialogue at all, skip to regular "what a fine ruler blah blah" bit, and then they go off on the regular path. No clue what is going wrong here, lolsob.

Oh dear... I actually had the same problem but I can't for the life of me remember how I solved it. ô___o Are you sure your texts are labelled correctly? For my version of the game it's actually MID_012_OP2_プレイヤー男_PCM1(or 2 or 3. For some reason it has three options even though only one has translated text; it's the same for the female player), so maybe there's the mistake? I can't believe that it's different for the American version of the game since all text patches made for the American version work just fine on my game.
I uploaded my edited 011.txt for you to compare. (Please ignore my sucky text editing skills if you find the small edited part, I'm no native English speaker and well. xD) Maybe you can find the mistake this way, since I really think it must be some wrong labelling.

That.... the whole _PCM1 thing was exactly the issue. I compared our txt files to make sure and there wasn't anything different in terms of labeling (and your dialogue edits were fine, by the way). I hadn't thought it necessary since when I went to look at the vanilla cmb file earlier the female player didn't have anything added to it. So I literally just opened up my cmb file in the Fates Script program, pasted _PCM1 at the end of the string, saved it, slapped it back into my game and it works. I can't believe I didn't think of trying that -___- Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction!

@BigOnYa, Yes ofc we don't know how Nintendo bans work, but if there are situations where a lot of people have tried safely then we can at least assume that this path is pretty much safe.
