I searched and searched and I can't find anyone with this problem and I have two Wii Us with the same issue.

Both are the same setup with CBHC. They could be used online without problem but the same day 5.5.3 was released, I updated one Wii U and didn't update the other. Now, both give me the error 106-0502 and won't let me play online. I've tried Mario Kart 8 and SSB4 with both consoles. Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions?

Oddly enough I had to take the BIOS battery out of both these consoles for a half hour. Not sure what happened but that fixed it and now they're both playing online. Dandy!
