It's really good that you did a guide on this but I don't think there is a script required for it. It's just one command afaik:

ffmpeg -i ~/PATH/"videfile.type" -s 720x480 ~/x.mp4
Most distros come with ffmpeg pre-installed but if you don't have it:
arch based:

sudo pacman -S ffmpeg
debian/ubuntu based:
Code:
sudo apt install ffmpeg

Cool I guess, but I don't see the reason anyone would even want to use their Wii as a media center device when there's so many better options.

I'm a big fan of the Wii in general so it's neat to see it still being useful (even in a limited capacity) in 2021.
