Dying Light 2 secures December 7th release date

After a handful of delays, Techland has provided a major information update about Dying Light 2, which now has an official title of Dying Light 2: Stay Human. In the new gameplay trailer, we get to see the remnants of the Nightrunners, who used to be specialists in parkour. Other factions are a part of the game's story, which you'll be able to impact by wiping them out or allying alongside them. The developers have revamped how weapons feel, making them more satisfying and weighty, as well as tactical. At the end of the trailer, there's a release date reveal for Dying Light 2: December 7th, 2021, where it'll launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

Watching the trailer I had forgotten just how fun and satisfying the parkour aspect of the first game was. I'm looking forward to that. Not looking forward to having to go out at night lol.

I will believe it when I see it too Many times (and games now days) give release dates 6 months in the future to just delay 2 or 3 more times as it gets closer. I think they just see other games getting hype over gameplay video releases and stuff and want people to see they still exist. Why else would they put dates out there to just miss deadlines repeatedly

Is the first game a stealth game? I am interested to try
Not really, you can avoid most enemies by staying up high, jumping across rooftops and such, or just cleave through swaths of them down on the ground. You do want to make sure not to get flanked though, and enemies are a lot tougher/more varied at night. I'd call it an action platformer with RPG elements sprinkled in.

Excellent port.

However this is the day "Living in germany sucks™" finally came to bite me.

Welp. Guess I'll charge my Japanese eShop Balance for the first time... ever.

This is, like, the only 1st person game that I've played and enjoyed.
I also like Apex Legends.. on Switch.
But I suppose I'm easily impressed as long as it runs natively on Smitch.
