My right shoulder button doesn't feel loose, it just feels... softer. When I press the right side it feels soft and and I don't hear anything and when I press the left I can hear and feel a "click".
Early adopter backlash maybe? I think its normal actually...considering how we use our left hands a bit differently from our right hand, I THINK maybe you're not pressing it the same way. I don't have a DS Lite yet
no because i tried it by flipping my US DS-Lite upside down and pressing the left button with my right finger... also my friend has a japanese DS-Lite and it doesnt have this issue.. so im thinking its just a manufacturing defect of the initial US/NA batches.. either way i bought a Best Buy warranty so i will exchange mine when v2 comes out
this reminds me of the initial v1 PSPs with the flying UMD cartrudge problem.. i guess early adopters always take a risk
My navy DS Lite has a very loose left shoulder button. My white (US) Lite has perfect shoulder buttons. It bugs me on my navy DS Lite, sure, but you get used to it. It doesn't affect gameplay at all.
I've played with 3 different DS Lites. All had a right shoulder button which were didn't "click" as much as the one of the left.
I think this is normal with all systems, I kind of assumed the power lights being closeby had something to do with it. Similiar to how PSP's Square button commonly get stuck because they are so close to the screen.
My left + right shoulder buttons both click fine, with the right one maybe a fraction softer. Well, it's not bad, I didn't notice it till I saw this thread.
