Misc DS Wiimmfi Not Working for Mario Kart DS

I followed this tutorial:

But when I connect my system to Wiimmfi, my system freezes. I got error code 60000 before, so maybe my system did connect with the server. On Pokémon Diamond, instead of freezing, it actually works fine. Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
