Gaming Ds lite turns on but then turns off

My friend gave me his old Ds Lite because he said it was broken. I took it because i wanted to fix it and give it to my little brother. I turn it on , the screen is black for about 3 seconds then the bottom screen flashes and it turns off. Is it trash or is it fixable? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The fuse is blown, it is fixable.

It can also be the screen ribbon cable came loose.

yeah that's what i thought because if the fuse was blown it wouldn't turn on at all right?

It would turn on there are to fuses F1 and F2 these go all the time in old ds lites
