I'm not a Naruto fan or anything, but this game looks impressive.

I belive it's port of that REALLY crappy jap-only "0756 - Naruto Shinobi Retsuden" game. It's not port of anything form anywhere, just 'original' button masher. You could win every match in original by pressin ONLY yyyxyyyxyyyxyyyxyyyxyyyxyyyxyyyxyyyxyyyx

I enjoyed the Japanese version, myself, but, even so, IGN has reported that the developers went in and made some significant changes, included improved texturing. I'm very happy to have an English version.

Yes from what I read they did quite a lot to the game since its Japanese release. I think some new characters and they zapped up the framerate so its not like playing in slow-motion.

I heard it's an improved version from the Japanese one. Can't find it on the usual place I get my roms though :/

Just gave it a go and played the first 2 fights in story mode......plays fine on the R4. Seems pretty decent. Runs smooth and fast. I'm not a Naruto fan, but I may check it out further.

I just wish Namco would grace the DS with Tekken. That was my all-time favorite fighter. Capcom could give us a Street Fighter too. I wonder why they don't......

game is fun but it sux that you have to play through one whole story until it saves...

The new additions:
- Jiraiya, Orochimaru and Tsunade are added to the roster.
- The frame rate is bumped from 15fps to 60fps
- New items on the bottom screen.
- Cel-shaded graphics.
- Everyone has two specials I think.

And for some reason, this European version doesn't include any voices.
