if you have a launch day wii... and IF you have IOS249 installed. (easily done if you have a WAD of cIOS36_rev5, or any other wad of it. just install via wad manager)

all you want to do if you have cIOS_rev9 installed (or any cIOS i think) is run cIOS Downgrader 1.11 and downgrade to any firmware version you want (within your region)


AND if you downgrade using cIOS Downgrader then yes you can still use wii connect 24, why wouldnt you be able to?
and since you have bootmii as boot 2 you're considered unbrickable, you have EVERYTHING you have on your wii backed up and ready to be restored if you brick your wii.

Run AnyTitle Deleter DB, go to 00000001 (System titles), then check if IOS249 exist. If it does, tell me its version. Go back, select IOS35 and tell me its version too.
EDIT: follow the guide normally, HBC 1.0.2 uses IOS61, I don't know if that can give issues.

The archive in the first post is ready to use with BannerBomb... (the boot.dol file is LoadMii).

so I take bannerbomb (which put itself in a folder called private by the way) and put private into the root take the folder you called sd root put that in too and just load up my wii?
I got it to work and it said cannot load file (forget .dol or .elf)

When doing the first step I get an error when trying to downgrade. Anyway to fix it?
1) Unpack the archive linked above.
2) Do a full backup of your SD card on the PC, and DELETE everything from the card.
3) Copy BannerBomb to the SD card.
4) Copy the content of the "SD Root" folder in the archive to the root of the SD card.
5) On the Wii, launch boot.dol using BannerBomb, then go to "downgradetools" in the SD and choose notDVDX34.dol. Pick "Downgrade IOS35", wait for it to end and come back to the menu, then exit.
^That step, when I press a on the "Downgrade IOS35" it returns some number and errors and exits. How can I get this to work?

I'm trying to install the patched ios60 onto my wii after doing the downgrade from 4.0 and installing ciosrev10 but when I try to install the ios, i get the install error (ret -2011) I need some help on getting past that to install the ios, please help me.

I'm getting really frustrated...I've tried EVERYTHING but it keeps saying that I'm a pirate...is there ANYWAY to get around this?
I just want to use the Rebooter again...yes I tried Nand Cleaner, it doesn't work.

Edit: I fixed the pirate problem, loaded up the patchmii thing and installed everything except IOS30, IOS35 (because you said so) and I think something else that was necessary for 3.4 (I'm on 4.0) but when I got to IOS51 I tried to install it but I guess an error occurred, IDK it happened SO FAST! All I can remember seeing was "something something http something" then it took me back to the HBC, I didn't use BannerBomb because I already had the HBC...now I'm scared to turn-off my Wii, I don't know if my System Menu is still installed...HELP!
Should I try installing all those IOSs again and see if that error happens again or should I just wait until some help arrives?

You don't need to install IOS51. That was for the old shop channel. But did you end up installing IOS30 or something else?

Also, you don't really need to downgrade either. Just get cIOS installed and you're set.

ok so, my wii's not bricked, because I didn't install IOS30 or 35...
ok I feel a little better now, but how would I go about installing the cIOS?
