Sorry for all these consecutive posts, I've never done such heavy modding before and I can't find a lot of info on the DOL-101 for this stuff.

So, I've been meaning to add a bunch of LEDs to this thing. Not only to the controller ports, but also in the disc drive area and behind the fan and stuff. However, I can't find any 5 volt or ground points on the motherboard that I know are safe, and the DOL-101 model doesn't have the power regulator pins that the 001 does. Anyone know of any good points I could solder to?

Still not sure where on the board to actually solder to :/
Try with a multimeter, and check the voltage values, remeber leds cannot have more than 5V or you will burn them. It's recommendable if you use a 5V point and use a 330Ohms resistance. I say this because my nes has leds and there's no tutorial about that, (nes top loader)
Also, good luck.
