That is highly unlikely. If savestates were a thing on the Switch, your SD will fill up so fast. Save states is saving what's in the RAM. The Switch has 4GB of RAM. Games like BOTW would probably take about 3GB of RAM or even most of it. So if you were to use a savestate, it would have to save 3GB - 4GB. Even if you save it, you'd be waiting quite some time for it to load. It's just not worth it.

snapshot build just means it's not a proper release build. it's like a pre-release version.
