I did the lock and buckle kit... It was an improvement but not a complete fix.

I did completely fix it here's what I did.

I then went to the craft card idea and firstly put a piece between the joycon and the rail. This does work... But it's a bit of messing every time you detach the joy con... And there's a slight danger of getting something stuck in the gap at the bottom of the switch.

So eventually I used electrical installation tape. And put a tiny piece at the bottom of the switch (see pic). This worked and eliminated about 90% of the issue. So I added another and it's all fixed.

The advantage to this fix is your not taking anything apart. No warranty being void... And it's really easy. The tape is at the bottom of the joycon rail not in the rail itself so nothing should fall in the switch.

When you click the joycon in place you should feel a slight pressure as the bottom of the joycon passes the tape. This is obviously helping keep your joycon still and in place.

I've used black electrical installation tape. So it's virtually invisible. Even in this pic under good lighting, and zoomed in its hard to see.

I hope this is of use to someone.
