Hardware Does anyone miss Dialup and old computers?

oh boy! I remember those times!!! downloading the first batch of GBA roms (from gbatemp) on a friend's house, and copying each game in 12 floppy disks to take them back home (WinRAR was really useful back then)... only to found this on the last part...

Fuck I hated getting kicked off of online games while on dial up. People kept calling when I was trying to level up my character or play Everquest.

I dont miss the speeds but i miss the noises.

What the hell is wrong with all you people man? You miss the noise? Seriously?!!

Hell the amount of crap I'd put on top of the modem when dialing up in a desperate attempt to dampen the noise so it wouldn't wake my parents as I snuck into the 'computer room' at night to download some 256-colour porn!
