I had a plan how to spend the 30$ gift card that my dad bought me: Buy dead space 2 severed(6.99), dead space 3 awakened(9.99), and untold stories bundle of resident evil 5(11.99) everything was fine until I saw the 360 deals: Resident evil revelations season pass now cost 8$, I only played the chapter one of re rev, but I saw a walkthrough so I know how its going to end, on the others dlc I haven't seen anything about the gameplay, I already bought dead space severed so I have $23, I won't be buying awakened until the game arrives and I can install it(I burnt that game but shit happens), so I have some options:

1. Buy season pass of re rev and hope that on black Friday there would be a discount of untold stories bundle of 5 dollars or less
2. Wait until black Friday and see the discounts?
3. Just stick to the original plan

Points to consider:

I'm kind of paranoid of being banned because of the lt 3.0, and the 360 deals last until 17 October, I have that money to buy everything, i cancelled a credit card i never used a long time ago and my sister want or has PayPal, but i would probably wait a lot of time until i buy a new gift card

If you patch your backups and burn them on a quality medium (Verbatim MKM-003 discs) then you have nothing to worry about.
Purchase the things you want to purchase.

I haven't burned the games with verbatim, I asked my dad to buy me 20 of those disk and dead space 3 used, since I love that game I would prefer original, all the others games doesn't matter

Burning games should be done with an iHAS or Burner Max Payload compatible DVD burner (for XGD3 games, the 8.5GB ones)
I have an Asus drw-24b5st, I bought that one because It was the best one I found where I live, anyway is clone cd the best one to burn DVD on xgd3? I only have problems with those games

No, Imgburn comes with the Burnermax payload tool so that's the preferred one to use.
Your drive is on the compatibility list but it might not work completely.

if you're paranoid of getting banned then cheaping out on discs/burner isn't the way to do it.

I guess I'm not too paranoid to buy another burner ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, I have img burn 2.5.5.0 and 2.5.7.0, if I remember correctly the last ones has malware so I used these, I have been out of the loop a long time ago so I wasn't even sure that the later imgburn burnermax is included, I'm ok with this version of imgburn?

I use this program to see if the disk were properly burned too

Use these settings.
Those are the correct ones.

IMGburn shouldn't come with malware (unless you download from a shady source or just blatantly click through the installation process)
Download it from here, it's the one with the Burnermax payload tool built in.

I already appreciate your help, its been a long time since the last burn I have made, about my original question I'm going to pick the first option, and if I need more money I will help my sister to create an amazon account and give her the money that I need if the dlc cost more than $5 in the future

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
