Even the Hollywood old guard are agreeing that western entertainment is now on life support and its not a matter of if, rather when it will crash and burn to the ground. Nah, the actual issue is the social engineering attempt that's happening in every facet of our lives. The people at the top of leftist pyramid are trying to push society towards socialism and if normies don't fight back however we can they will tip the scales. How do you accomplish that? Well you get activist teachers in schools, colleges and universities, you plaster kids programming with messages, you make sure DEI is always there in every aspect of peoples lives, you take over the culture, you erase the identity and the sense of community, you erase societal norms that have been around for decades like gender roles and you push everyone down the "we are all equal" path. Larry Fink is on camera literally saying that its up to the elites to force this societal change onto us, they guy who is worth billions, runs a trillion dollar hedge fund, lives in a multi million dollar mansion and literally has more liquid wealth available to him that half the planet combined want's to force everyone else into a socialist mindset. Now if you take a look at other nations that have converted to communism you'll notice a pattern, the common people get fed the short end of the stick while the elites keep everything. Vietnam, China, the USSR, Japan.... yeah they ALL ended the same way, the rich get richer while everyone dies of famine or from exhaustion for working 16 hour days 7 days a week in a field to grow food to feed the elites.

Let me be very clear, I don't care if you are left, right, centrist or have the position that Mars is for the martians, just exercise some fucking common sense. If its shit, call it shit, don't open you wallet, move on and forget about it. We might not have much power to take a stand but voting with you wallet is the best way to teach these woke ass companies that we don't want this shit infesting our lives any more.

Edit - I'm gonna make a prediction.... If the rumours of Sweet Baby Inc being involved in GTA 6 turn out to be true and that game releases as a woke pile of trash then that will be the spark that cause the next video game crash. Lets see how correct I am.

Disney is biggest problem, Marvel movies now use green screen so much every single frame of the movie needs some work before release.

The problem is all the old techniques are dead, modern screenwriters/showrunners/directors etc simply don't see the need for practical effects when they can take the easy way out, spend an hour setting up a GS and get the VFX artist to do it instead.

I agree with you except this has nothing to do with socialism and communism to me. It's quite the opposite, woke relativism is the epitome of the most extreme consumerism, because it turns every single aspect of human life, including human bodies, into a product that can be altered and engineered at will. As a sidenote: can I ask what triggered all of this? Like, I've tried looking and all I can find is an offhand quote that it'll have a "diverse cast". Is that it?
