Hello.

I have problems with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time / Master Quest.
The intro and choosing game works fully with music and everything, but after you chose the game, the game freezes and black screen.

I use Dios Mios Lite 2.8. I always use my GameCube Memory Card for games so I never use NMM.
I tried both No-disc and normal. But both didn't work.
I boot my games with Dios Mios Booter.

Can anyone help me out?
Thanks in (GB) Advance

^ I could be wrong because I don't have the game but I believe it was reported to be a bug in the game if you play with progressive patch support!

Edit: Turned out I was wrong!

That specific game requires a disc in the drive (any disc works). My copy works that way, with progressive patch turned on. I use a clean 1:1 copy.

It doesn't matter who wrote the original code
Really, it doesn't matter who wrote the original code? Guess what? You wouldn't be playing shit through USB otherwise. Only those game discs u own, through Devo or disc channel or SWISS. Good luck purchasing all those games u play buddy. No one else (besides TUEIDJ) brought anything to the table when it came to USB GC emulation. I could really tear u apart for this one single line but i'm trying to compose myself here. It really shows how ungrateful you are and it's no wonder devs don't care for most end users.

I respect his work nonetheless
I'm sure u do, when it doesn't matter who wrote the original code right? I have access to the compatibility list, I wonder why u didn't? Oh maybe it was because you had a lot of additional problems many of us didn't due to your hardware, and NO ONE needs to tailor anything they create specifically for your needs. Seems because you couldn't get some one on one time with Crediar about your problems, but someone gave u the time of day, now you're hopping up on his dick. Forgetful the reason we have anything at all to Mod is because of Crediar.

Crediar then made a mod of DML to run TriForce games, he totally kept it a secret and didn't share it with anyone, which is totally his right I'm not saying otherwise, then when it was leaked he punished those who did nothing wrong and released an early build. a short time after he released a couple of videos showing progress of Quadforce running more games and having save feature and USB support, saying he's never to release them in public.
That's right, point is to never leak his shit again or it just won't be released. "Punish" seriously are u a jit? Nobody was punished. Your a grown man aren't u? If you felt punished then you took something that had nothing to do with you personally and that's your problem. There was no loss as u had NOTHING to begin with. This also shows u seem to have some sense of entitlement to what other people create. What did u do that makes u feel like u are owed anything to begin with? There's plenty of projects that are shown off and don't get released to the public bud, it's life, u want in, do something for it, get involved in the creation process, contribute code, ANYTHING.

__ cares for bug reports, he tries to help and support the project the way he can, Crediar doesn't, this makes me respect __ work more and respect him as a guy in general, if I'm to donate for one of them I'd choose __ because while Crediar may have wrote the original codes it doesn't help if he broke them later on or didn't care to share fixes!
Last I checked it was Crediar and team that we have to thank for every single major bug fix AND feature additions that we all love so much, such as 2-Disk swap, progressive & Wide Screen patch, Pad Hook, and so on. So a few games were broken in the process, it's nice to have people that can Mod and fix these issues but again it seems u forget there would be nothing to Mod and fix w/o Crediar. See I'm grateful and truly appreciate the Mods, and I respect him and his requests. I'm sure the modder requested that u keep his name out of (your mouth) the spotlight and you're blowing his spot up.

EDIT: What's a 1:1 copy and what game did you use?
that's when it's an exact copy and not made smaller by trimming or compressing it.

if there's no option in the loader for that then you could always just use cleanrip and then rename it to "game.iso" and replace the game.iso file that's already there.

I installed DIOS MIOS 2.8 via WAD Manager 1.7 but both WiiFlow v4 and CFGv70MODr51 just show a black screen after I try to load either Luigi's Mansion or Custom Robo. I would appreciate any help.

In case it helps, here is my SysCheck:

I wanted to mention that my reply to Sonictopfan's post is by no means an attempt at discrediting DML Mods. I am very grateful and appreciative at the efforts that go into them and I use them myself. I wanted to make that clear.

@Sonictopfan, I was rude and insulting and I owe u an apology, but I said what I felt, since IMO what you said was, at the very least... out of line. Neway, forum drama is stupid, and you do plenty of testing so, let's continue with on-topic stuff :ha:

@PopSmith, what is the path and name of your ISO?

That's alright, I admit I was being unfair to Crediar because of a personal issue I have but like I said I respect the guy and his great work on Dios Mios, I apologize for both of you as well.

@PopSmith, what is the path and name of your ISO?

I ripped CustomRobo w/USB Loader. It's path is:
USB:/games/CUSTOMROBO [GXCE01]/game.iso

Luigi's Mansion was put on the HDD from a shrunk ISO w/GCReEx. It doesn't have an ISO file on the HDD.
It's path is USB:/games/GLME01/
Inside there are two folders, root and sys along with a size.bin file.

If it makes a difference, the USB partition is the same one that my Wii games are on. I can run Wii games without issue.

HDD should be a FAT32 format with a 32KB cluster.

HDD should be a FAT32 format with a 32KB cluster.

It appears to be that way, chkdsk says the format is FAT32 and there are 32,768 bytes in each allocation unit.

Does it matter that the drive is partitioned in two? One is general PC storage (NTFS) and the other part is FAT32 which was originally done for Wii games. Both partitions are listed as Primary Partitions in Disk Management.

So I think I might have found the issue. My drive is split into two partitions, using Diskpart it shows that "Partition 1" is my storage and "Partition 2" is the Wii Games partition (both are Primary partitions). Does that mean I need to re-partition my HDD so the Wii Games partition is listed first?

Correct. First partition should be Primary Fat32 w/32k clusters. 2nd partition can be primary NTFS for Wii games or whatever.

Awesome, thank you for the reply. :) I'll try and get my drive properly partitioned tomorrow and reply with an update on whether or not that solves the issue.

It doesn't matter who wrote the original code, Crediar broke games that were working before and never cared to get them fixed again, wither he neglected them in purpose or they were broken in favor to fix other stuff is beyond me but this doesn't change the fact he didn't react on fixing them even though according to what you said is a very simple fix, which btw not all of us can do that stuff, I know I can't and I'm sure most DM(L) users can't compile and swap patches.

Crediar maybe a great programmer but his manners and personality aren't so great imho, I respect his work nonetheless, but he rarely responds to any comments, he never takes bug reports seriously and just assumes you're doing something wrong without even trying the reported games, I tried to report many times games like Looney Tunes Back in Action, Namco Museum, and Pac-Man World Rally for audio streaming issues, Virtua Striker 3 for not working while compressed (not sure if it's been fixed, last I checked was with DML 1.5 then stuck with the uncompressed version) but he never took them seriously or let anyone add to the compatibility list.

People have reported that SD compatibility broke with DML 1.0 while it worked fine in older versions, he totally neglected that and gave them the middle finger, they reported USB compatibility being broken, he didn't care, they reported sleep mode issues, took him a long time to fix and even then he didn't provide a proper fix, it only fixed SOME hard drives, then came airline38 and provided the proper fix for sleep mode, he tolerated me and asked me for testing one version after the other until it worked.

Crediar then made a mod of DML to run TriForce games, he totally kept it a secret and didn't share it with anyone, which is totally his right I'm not saying otherwise, then when it was leaked he punished those who did nothing wrong and released an early build and said (THAT'S ALL YOU'RE GETTING, BITCHES) a short time after he released a couple of videos showing progress of Quadforce running more games and having save feature and USB support, saying he's never to release them in public, what's the point of showing them off if you're not planning on sharing them? That was a d*ck move if you ask me!

airline38 cares for bug reports, he tries to help and support the project the way he can, Crediar doesn't, this makes me respect airline38's work more and respect him as a guy in general, if I'm to donate for one of them I'd choose airline38 because while Crediar may have wrote the original codes it doesn't help if he broke them later on or didn't care to share fixes!

Well last I heard they said he backed his Wii again and said he's moved to a different project, I really hope they'd enhance NMM compatibility because I'm thinking to switch on using it with games with bigger save files that I don't intend to keep after I beat the game, well that and it maybe a good start for DM(U)!

Crediar is a god, and you wouldn't be able to play your pirated gamecube games without him. I have the utmost respect for him and when his hdd died I gave him a donation so he could get a new one and continue his amazing work. Sure, I would love to see him come back to DM for a time but I have no doubts that in the future I will enjoy new projects he may release. Be thankful for what he has done. I know my friends who I hadn't seen for a long time certainly enjoyed his work the other night.

Huh? How come I didn't know about this? How to use it step by step please? I never used neek before, it'd be cool if I could use it for both DM and Quadforce at the same time and keep my original MIOS installed instead!

I guess me buying a 1TB WD HDD for the PS3 which turned out it's not t compatible with it wasn't a total waste, maybe I'll start using neek mode for all my wiiware games too if that works out!
