Hardware Delete NNID from 3DS v10.7.0-32U (Nintendo locked my NNID)

I made a chargeback on a purchase from the eShop. Nintendo locked my 3DS, blocking my NNID from formatting, updating games(cant play any games online), or deleting the NNID from the system settings. Any time I try to do one of these things I am hit with Error Code 005-5964. I can still use the web browser to full effect.

I did some searching on the forums and found this:

"If you can run rxTools, then I believe there is a way to remove the NNID by deleting a file from NAND.

Delete these folders :
nand:/data/<ID0>/sysdata/00010032
nand:/data/<ID0>/sysdata/00010038
nand:/data/<ID0>/sysdata/0002009F
nand:/data/<ID0>/sysdata/000202C1
You will probably have to dump the NAND and the xorpads for it (using rxTools) to do that."

So from what I've gathered, I need to downgrade from 10.7 to 9.2 (which I think requires a hackable game? I have Smash 3ds from the eshop V1.08) and then install rxTools as well as a program called gateway onto my 3ds. I just do not know where to start.

You could try tinyformat you would obviuosly lose your games and nnid though. But atleast you don't need to downgrade, you can just run it from homebrew.

I am okay with losing my game from eShop. how would I install tinyformat? Srry for noob question, I dont have homebrew installed either. any help would be appreciated. there was no install guide in the thread you linked

hmmm seems like I cant install homebrew without downgrading to at least version 10.5 and using web browser exploit. Can't use Smash Bros 3DS Exploit because it requires a New 3DS.

Seems like im out of luck unless I own cubic ninja or OOT3d, so I will have to pick this up another time, thx for ur help

Why did you do a chargeback?

This is a good question, @buster77fa why did you do a chargeback on a digital purchase anyway.
Your best bet is to call Nintendo and attempt to have them resolve the issue.
