Do you own a Powersaves?

I'm thinking of getting that R4 dongle to backup my save files, especially Pokemon and the upcoming Smash Bros.

R4i dongle doesn't work with Pokemon X&Y.

I have one, so I know..


as for any other 3DS games that ain't nand saving (or card2), I'm not sure,

But I *think* people were unable to restore.

Anyone else got more accurate information?

I found this line:

You can back up and restore YOUR OWN MK7/SM3DL saves, but not use other peoples' yet.

However..

there 2 encyption currently

1.0.0-0 to 2.1.0-3 games used type one
2.1.0-4 to latest games use type two
you can dycpt all type one saves

That's about it.

However, you can partially decrypt parts of X/Y save files (without knowing the key) if you're crafty enough. Easy way to get new eggShinyValues
