Custom theme from Theme Plaza freezing my 3DS, is there any way out?

upon installing the theme and closing Anemone, the system froze up. now, on boot, it runs for about 2 seconds before freezing again, not giving me enough time to get into Anemone to uninstall the theme.

i tried booting into GM9 but the only thing i could seem to do was delete the .zip file for the offending theme, which obviously did nothing, as it’s just the .zip used to install the theme.

is there any way to fix this without having to reformat? any help is greatly appreciated, it’d kill me to have to start from scratch here.

Delete the theme extdata directory from your SD card using GodMode9. “SYSNAND SD”/extdata/00000000/XXX, where XXX is Japan=000002cc, USA=000002cd, EUR=000002ce,

I tried this myself and it reverted my theme to the default white.
