I’m sorry that some of the regulations affected your day-to-day - I’m in the UK and I hate to break this to you, but people were just fine. As far as NHS workers are concerned, yeah, I expect my healthcare providers to be fully vaccinated. If they refuse, they need to find a different line of employment. It’s 100% part of the job to be immunised against the diseases you’re supposed to be treating. If you cannot do that, it’s time to find a new job. As for concerts and other social gatherings, those are not necessities. I haven’t gone to a full-blown concert in years - not because of COVID but because it’s not one of my interests. Absolutely nothing changed about my life throughout the course of the pandemic besides having to wear a mask and getting paid leave, I can’t complain.

Why should you care if someone else gets vaccinated or not? It makes ZERO difference to you. You can spread a virus such as covid whether you're vaccinated or not. Also these people were self testing all the time and stayed off work if they tested positive. It seems to me like you think that it's your buisiness what other people do with their own body. It's not and to try and coerce someone into getting an experimental medical procedure (to make you "feel" better) which in many cases has had serious side effects to some of those people - or they would lose their jobs seem like something Adolph Hitler would have been all for.

Seems to be a weird form of collective amnesia on the right, they act as if COVID was the first time vaccinations and masks were required of healthcare workers and members of the military. Then again, they also act like all forms of microbiology are unknowable voodoo, so it's probably just the result of bad teachers/poorly run high schools.

I *don’t* care if other people get vaccinated or not and I *don’t* care if they fail to fulfil the requirements of their employment and lose their job as a result. That’s on them - it’s their life and their decisions. I’m not going to call that “punitive”, they’re not being punished - nobody’s putting them in prison or imposing fines on them. All of their freedoms are perfectly intact. The *only* thing I found objectionable in the UK throughout the pandemic was the wave of arrests of anti-vaccine protesters - that *is* a limitation of freedom. It is the people’s right to protest and anyone who punishes people for exercising their rights should have hot pokers pressed against their feet.

Point A: It's "not a mandate" in your eyes because it's something you agree with or expect.

Point B: It's not %100 part of the job to take every vaccination that is available, or ones that do not even exist. The claim that a doctor needs to be immunized against diseases they treat doesn't make sense.

It's troubling to see government dictate what kind of medicine people must take, especially when they are doing it to doctors/physicians in lieu of their jobs. It culls and curates the medical field of independent doctors and types of thought that would yield alternative forms of treatment, and has a way of pressuring every other industry to follow the example as a "de facto standard". I see it as a kind of "controlled evolution".

People who work for the government are one step removed from lizards.

People who go around injecting others without their consent are lizards.

The law says that valid consent must be free from coercion, so no matter how much you want to deny it you absolutely are injecting people without their consent. Otherwise bosses could say "date me or you're fired" and a "yes" would be valid consent in your view, which is absurd.

Nowhere in my employment contract does it say I may be required to take all these injections of novel genetic material. If you want to breach our legal contract then you must provide some valid reason, such as that I pose a significant risk in the workplace. But of course you can't do that because I've tested negative for Covid, and/or positive for antibodies (natural immunity, which CDC admits is superior to vaccination), and you have your 4 doses of vaccines and N95 masks protecting you, and half of your vaccinated staff are already unvaccinated in terms of ability to catch and spread the virus, which completely shatters your disingenous and fraudulent claim that the risk level of having unvaccinated people in the work place was ever unacceptably high.
