nice work! how to paint stuff so smooth?

From my own experience when I painted some stuff it takes a bit of patience and not spraying it to close as for the smooth parts its probably with the invisible spray to give it the smooth ending and shine
But that was by me :)
Not to mention every dust piece can make your life hell by this :/

Collectors opinion.
I wouldn't pay a fiver for them personally.
A tenner tops for parts.
most of them are for collectors that have all the funtastic pokemon etc and want something cool like a custom zelda oot or star wars mega man etc, and as for a fiver? well if i ever cant sell one ill contact you

Well... I used can spray to do it
Needed 3 different for it
First I sanded the whole console with 2k grid sandpaper, and then added first layer of spray with plastic base paint that makes any collour stick better to the plastic itself.
Then I sprayed 3 layers of metallic purple paint left it to dry and for the last layer I added the invisible protective layer that gives the console.its final touch
The buttons were coloured with a bronze spray a few times so they look good
Not in a dust free area but managed to get through without stains on the collour :)
Totally feel like doing another one :) :)

I did this a few weeks ago.
Neat looks good (almost a bit too plain for my taste) seems you had a small accident while opening that you broke a bit off the plastic, happens mine lost the plastic by the power light sadly...
Anyways good job looks nice ^^

Nah I got it with the plastic chipped. It also has the power led changed to a rgb led, the logo is backlit and I plan on adding green leds to the controller ports.
