console phases

i was wondering.

this gen every console had sorta of a controller overhaul before the end of the consoles life cycle.
1st: wiimote (& classic controller), ps3 controller, 360 controler
2nd: wiimote plus (& classic controller pro), ps3 move, 360 kinect.

now the next gen consoles are coming... well 1 of them for now only the wii u has been OFFICALLY announced.
(& were not talking about handheld 3DS & PSV are out so nextgen is already here for handhelds)

the wii was released with the wiimote & nunckuck (& classic controller) the idea was motion control's, worked great but not 1:1. balance board was released a while later which seems to be very responsive & kinect like. then the classic controller was replaced with classic controller pro. then we finally got 1:1 motion with wii motion plus attachment which eventually got replaced with wiimote plus. which is the new standard.
(& a new acessory vitality sensor was coming that seemed to have potentiol butstill puzzled about its ability.)

the wii u will be released with wiimote u the idea is universal. either a DS/DSi/3DS like interface with the top screen being the tv & bottom touch being on the controller or use the controller to pay teh game all together & universal controlls(backwards compatibility with every wiimote).

my thought are on what if later in the consoles life cycle the controller is replaced replaced/upgraded by wiimote u plus or wiimote u pro or something. what features would it have if such a device was made?
what features would you guys like to see?

also what if its not just replaced but just a different type of coexisting controller what would you like to see?

if you look carefully i wasnt saying anything about sony copying nintendo i was talking about the move from wiimote to wiimote plus, ps3 controller to ps3 move, & 360 contoller to 360 kinect & if wii u mote will move to sometihng else..

edit: THIS IS NOT AN ASSAULT ON SONY NOR IS IT ABOUT WHO IS COPYING WHO.

Sony uses the same controller for years on end and I guess that Sony will be using the same controller for the PS4.

If you was trying to get that across you would've posted an image showing all the PS controllers, not how Sony is copying Nintendo.

But it works. If it ain't broke, why fix it?

I'd like a controller that doesn't have the screen, for games that really don't need, or don't want to take advantage of it.
It just looks uncomfortable to hold after a while, since it's basically like a slab of controller, but I like the concept so i'm not really complaining about that.

But the option would be nice, eventually. S'bout it. Nothing else to really "improve" on it.


edit: well played Prowler. Not going to bother arguing about it anymore though. Pretty sure the PS3 controller leaks pathogens that makes people susceptible to terrible controllers if they're not ready for it.
