Hacking Configurable USB Loader

I have put sort = play_count-desc in my config.txt than played some games to see if it works...
I noticed that works only after unlocking the loader...

And a question on this example:
/wbfs/TITLE_[GAMEID]/GAMEID.wbfs
/wbfs/TITLE [GAMEID]/GAMEID.wbfs
/wbfs/TITLE[GAMEID]/GAMEID.wbfs
The square brackets are necessary or it's just to make the example more clear?

Just a minor complaint about the database - where quotes are supposed to be, it says ". For example, brawl now says: in the solo mode called " The subspace emissary," ...
could you add in the quotation mark support? I know it's not just one game because several of my games say it.

There are also problems with accented characters éèàîêœ with french descriptions of games. These characters are just not displayed.

Who managed to start a game via a channel created with Loadstructor using cusbl-forwarder.dol ?

I just tried and it ended with a black screen, meanwhile my newly created channel showed a corresponding error when I removed the configurable loader from sd:/usbloader_cfg

I successfully migrated from wbfs partition onto ntfs wil .wbfs images on it, and everything plays fine when started from the loader (v50c). The problem remains with Loadstructor's channels.

Who faced the same troubles and overpassed them?

When I use loadstructor I use cloader as the loader and it works fine. I've tried cfg as well and got the same results as you. So just use cloader.

Yeah, the cLoader works like a charm when wbfs partition is used. And that's how I used to play via channels. But cLoader isn't aware of the way to play games from .wbfs images rtored on fat or ntfs partition, which is my aim. So I am looking for a way to use cfg loader from a channel

They are necessary. That is so that the loader can identify the location of the id easier since it can be at the start or end of the name. So, for example like this:
/wbfs/Wii Play [RHAP01]/RHAP01.wbfs

The new category browser is great, thanx for this new feature!

I tried to use to category browser before downloading the database. This caused my Wii to crash. Downloading the database solved the issue

I wish the category browser is a main feature browser in the usb loader. I have ~125 games, and starting in the browser/searching via such a browser would be great.

Ok new problem now. I managed to fix the sd inaccessable error. I can load games fine. But I installed (Universal) Forwarder Channel: (by Narolez) for priiloader and checked the setting to autorun installed file. Now when I open wii it gives error dsi occured. How can I fix this? Can not load priiloader nor system menu.

Guitar Hero Smash Hits issue here - the "start" button doesnt work. I choose quickplay, choose my instument, choose my song, and then it says to press start to continue, but start will not work on anything. Therefore I stay stuck on the song selection screen, rendering my rock experience a major bore. What should I do?

Are you using an IOS222 or IOS223 that was merged with IOS37 when it was installed? If not, do so.

Yes I did 38 merged with 37. Rb and gh AFDC work fine. What could it be?

Following bugs / issues will be fixed next release for those wondering:

Loader crashes when trying to sort or filter without a database
Accented characters do not show up in the synopsis
Entities not converted in the synopsis (", etc)
Main menu will respect the disable_options configuration
sort=play_count now works properly without reloading the game list

Any more bugs out there?

Re the new format for the name of the game folders , I think that

/wbfs/TITLE [GAMEID]/GAMEID.wbfs

is the best choiche for a future default format... in wbfs_file 2.8....
