[*]Just to be sure, reinstall ModMii 4.5.7 from scratch.[*]Create the forlder "d2x-beta" inside ModMii's "modules" folder.[*]Open cIOSX-d2x6-beta1.rar and unpack the content of the folder "modules" into the "d2x-beta" folder that you've created in step 2.
At the end modules/d2x-beta MUST contain 5 .app files and 1 .bat file.
That's all.
I found what looks like another upside....i tried IOS reload block on a couple of games that restart instead of going back to the title menu. With IOS reload block on, when you press home and choose Title screen, the games now always return..instead of restarting..icw35 said:Could this mean the death of uneek/sneek?
Obviously u/sneek are good for other reasons, but I only used it for MPT, We Dare and Wiiware. If everything (or nearly everything) works now with MC and CFG on the new IOS 249 (or wherever you decide to install) we are set, right?
MC is nearly 100% Wiiware compat. Lots of retro games also work with MC and uLoader. All IOS reloading games will work with this d2x (I was using uneek+di and uniiloader for these). Can't think of anything else I need
Awesome.
If you install v6 beta 1, you DON'T NEED v5..doncaruana said:I'm cool with getting the v6 beta in - that's same as always. But how do I get v5 final into modmii? It seems like the only way to make it work is to put it in the beta folder. When I do that (put v5 final finals in the d2x-beta folder), then modmii gives me the option of cranking out a "beta" v5 with final appended to it, with the checksum matching. But if I put betaoff, it goes all the way back to v4. Is that to be expected until the next version of modmii comes out and includes v5?
Well, if you only compare them for playing games (and leave the whole NAND-Emulation, Interface, Brick-Protection, etc. out of the picture), besides the option to store saves on the SD/USB (which could be included, I know), the compatibility for WiiWare isn't 100%, nor does Online-Gameplay work (Seeing how fast this cIOS progresses, these probably will be fixed by next week though ;P). Also, since the games don't get the IOS they requested, you sometimes need multiple cIOS with other bases to make them work. Also, AP-Protection was used mostly against cIOS-Users (besides BCA), most AP-Games worked out of the box on UNEEK/SNEEK, afaik.icw35 said:Could this mean the death of uneek/sneek?

I'm a little confused by this comment right here. Are we not able to play online using the d2x cIOS? Cause I thought playing online was possible through usb loading or sneek. Thanks for you timely response.QUOTE said:Could this mean the death of uneek/sneek?
