Note that I haven't gotten around to posting d2x v3 beta 6 hashes yet, I will when I get a chance unless some1 else beats me to it (heck u can even do it and others can just verify u did it right if u like).

Okay, I have some preliminary results.

System = 4.2U, w/updated Shopping Channel and IOS 58, BootMii, Mios, Hermes and Wanin cIOSes.
Video = Progressive (Component output)
USB Drive = Seagate FreeAgent 640gb Drive., FAT 32, 1 partition only. Nand is in root.
cIOS tested = rev21d2x3 beta 6, slot 249, base 56
Mighty Channels = Version Beta 5 (modded), launched from SDHC via Forwarder channel.
All games are NTSC-U, checked via OfflineList.

...and the same ones I have. However: no log file on this end. There hasn't been an update from mighty channels since this mod from daveboal, right?

(note: since yesterday, I tried it both on my USB drive as my SD card, on 2 completely different emulated nands)

Both of those seemed suspicious to me in the way they failed. I tried them again and Mega Man 9 ran fine. However, Arkanoid continues to fail in the same place. I edited my post above to reflect MM9 in the "pass" category for me.

Like I want to use ios 248 in place of ios 250 using -> cIOS250[56]-v21d2x3-beta6.wad

u can use modmii in advance custom downloads (press a) for slot to use for cios, and other method is with showmii i think.

Maybe something is happening in the background or there is some difference between a PAL and NTSC wii?
Are the games PAL or NTSC versions?

S&S (PAL) needs IOS53 to run in Sneek. So maybe it will run better with IOS 56 instead of IOS 3x

if it is S & S you are talking about i can tell you that my sys menu is 4.X E
and i can´t get it to work properly with v3b6 (it sometimes freeze then playing the game) and tried base 38-56 and 57 and it was also a pain in the a.. just to get it to work..
but it works perfect with v3b3

Mmm, there could be some logic to that...i can remember reading somewere that games who use a higher IOS than the base you use with your cIOS the IOS of your system menu can potentially cause problems...and PAL / NTFS versions of games are different in some way.

All the games that I have are PAL, BUT i also have NTFS versions so i can test that, but it will be at the earliest on Friday, also i first like to know if it makes sense to compare PAL with NTSC after reading Fox888's comment.

Note: LIT works for me without problems with beta 6 and the MC 5 mod
Also: NP with the logfiles, it is always created or over written every time i start a game.

EDIT: as a reaction to my first comment, it prolly doesn't matter, if i am correct SM 4.X uses IOS 60 or higher already, so if the game uses an lower IOS there should be no problem.

I tested it, and that's really weird.
wbfs folder from SD card => no lag
wbfs folder from USB HDD => lag

Did you get the same results ?
If yes, I assume it's another problem in the EHCI or in the FAT module ?

Yeah same results through usb with rev19 too, not tested via sd card.
Can you also test it through backup dvd?
I need to exclude as many modules as possible to locate the issue.

Interesting. For the record, all my games are NTSC-U. I've edited my post to include that bit of information.

Not sure what I am doing wrong but I am using the latest modmii and I replaced the files inside the w21 modules folder but I am sstill getting these filenames - cIOS249[56]-v21d2x2.wad. Any ideas?

The names will remain the same even if you replace the modules

that should be what they are named, u can rename them manually if u like and confirm their hashes against those provided above... but u most likely have done everything correct.
