My wiiu hdmi port stopped working, I've tried several screens, cables,etc.. It seems like the IC chip is dead. So I tried a wii2hdmi adaptor and got working for a couple months. THe problem is that when i want to play the vwii on my 1080p monitor. It goes black, with a message: hdmi out of range and the gamepad shows the image fine.
After testing it on a tv, I observed that says hdmi mode 576i. It makes sense because my monitor doen's seem to get well with interleaced resolutions. 4080p wiiu res works fine. I tried forcing progressive mode, pal, ntsc, etc.. on wii flow but it seems imposible, the wii refuses to change nothing.
Btw is a PALmodel.
Have you got any idea how can i get the vwii working on a monitor without replacing the console? As nowadays seems imposible to repair this hdmi issue near where i live.
