Let's say I want to change the ingame music on Persona 3 Portable to something different, how would I go about that?

Game images use the standard ISO-9660 format (unless compressed to CSO, in which case uncompress), so you should be able to go in and swap the music. Depending on the game it may be simple MP3 files, or a custom or tracker format. Even if it is MP3 you may need to match the audio properties (bitrate and crap), so you'll need to check and give us more info.

Alright, I'll open up the iso and tell you what I can find.

And there is someone that already did it, here's a youtube vid of it, though he didn't say how he did it.

EDIT: The "sound" folder has .pmsf files. Only two of them though, odd.

Swapping one game's music for another's in the same series on the same system should be easier, considering it'd more than likely be in the same format.
well, according to what I'm seeing, the sound folder has .pmsf files. I don't know if P4 has the same format, I'll go look.

A quick google search those are video files.
Really? Hmm, then I don't know where the music files would be, I thought that it would be in the folder "sound" I guess I was wrong.
