I am not a fan of save states. So I was trying to get regular SRM saves working with these GBC games (Link's Awakening DX for example), but can't. I always lose data. I tried transferring the games with the EZ Flash IV client, and I tried 256 size and the 512 size as well and it won't work.
I only create one game file for each rom using Goomba if that matters.
And it looks like it won't save the Goomba settings either. For example, I remove the background for certain enhanced games, but it just comes back after I restart.
Any idea on how I can get GB/GBC to save regularly?
