Hacking Can you replace save files for inject gamecube/wii titles

I can't find anywhere on how to replace save files for inject gamecube and wii games. Can anyone help me point to this direction? Thanks.

For Gamecube is very easy, just replace the new or backup save in the saves folder on the SD card. For Wii games I'm almost sure it can be done by using savemii (app for Wii U to backup and restore saves).
