Hardware Can I send my 3DS XL into Nintendo to fix? A bit complicated...

Hello,

Apologies if this is not the right forum and sorry for creating a new thread when I could have posted this in my previous 3DS thread, but I felt I wouldn't capture the right audience for this question.

So, I broke the ribbon cable of the top screen inside of my 3DS XL by playing with the hinge like an idiot (opening and closing it repetitively very quickly).

I have disassembled my 3DS XL and I have removed the top screen. It is still disassembled. Can I send my 3DS into Nintendo with all the parts and have them put in a new screen? How much would it cost? I didn't purchase any extra warranty/insurance and I bought it about 3 years ago.

I'm not confident enough to put in a new screen myself.

Also, I just realised I could have contacted Nintendo support and ask them myself, but if anyone can answer my question above anyway, I'd be thankful.
