Can I run a ULaunch disc this way?

Hello: Sorry I put this here but I couldn't find a proper thread

I've been trying to launch ulaunch through Agent Under Fire unsuccessfully. every time I try it, it doesn't work. I heard that you can burn a cd-r and trick the console into thinking it's launching an official ps1 game through cogswap. I know that you can swap a ps1 game with a backup at the boot screen and it will work (i've done it before). If i were to swap an official ps1 game with a ulaunch disc, will it work?
