I am wondering, if it is possible for me to jailbreak/homebrew my cech-2001a ~4.82 updated ps3 to play ps2 discs and iso, and ps3 iso all with cheat possibility (such as Action replay or whatever method)?
The only other requirement would be i would like to be able to reinstall my games (the arkham games and skyrim primarily) with any of the dlc or whatever i already own if i happen to have to delete them for space reasons (the main area i would want to store the ps3 iso games is the hdd of the ps3 if possible so space might be an issue) or otherwise (i sometimes delete the skyrim 1.9 patch to use beneficial glitches in game before i reinstall the dlcs and patch) and don't have internet access. (im moving and wont have internet for unknown period).
Also what program of a jailbreak/ homebrew would be needed to read a usb hardrive which may contain the files needed if i manage to get one?
I have homebrewed wiis numerous times, but i imagine a ps3 is more difficult than a wii, but for such (simplistic in comparison) tasks i imagine it might be possible for me to understand it.
