Hacking Can I change a xDelta file to nds? or play it on a flashcard

I have been trying to play mario kart zero a rom hack on my nintendo ds, I am not sure wether I can put a xdelta file on my flashcard or change a xdelta file to nds. Does anyone know how to do this? If yes could you please tell me how to do that.

Why? I want to try the rom on my nintendo ds

xdelta is a patching format, the old standby of IPS fell far short when it came time to hack DS games and many hackers used xdelta instead.

There are two versions of xdelta that were used. The current line you can find at http://xdelta.org/ and will probably be what you want. There is an older version available http://www.evanjones.ca/software/xdelta-win32.html which was used for some earlier hacks, and one or two GUI programs.

Speaking of GUI programs both of those are command line programs so if you are not comfortable with them then http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/598/ or http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/704/ should be good.

Yes you hacve to patch that xdelta file, any hack i donwloaded usaly came with the patcher program. just aim it at the patch and then to the rom and then the output as desktop and voila easy!
