I'm working on a modification to add auto disc booting to USB Loader GX, but I'm digging through the code trying to figure out if there's a way to stop the disc drive from resetting twice when loading from a disc.

I thought it was from switching IOS', but even with a matching cIOS for the app and the game (both set to 249 which is d2x v11), the behavior is:
Select disc icon -> Drive resets and spins up -> Game banner loads, select start game -> Drive resets again, completely spins down, then completely spins back up -> Game finally launches

Quick Boot being enabled will stop the game banner screen from coming up, but the drive still starts, stops, and then starts again.

I'd like to start using USB Loader GX for all my game launching thanks to deflicker and 480p fix patches, but the extra drive reset is adding something like 10 extra seconds to every disc boot and lots of extra wear on the disc drive.

Is there any way to avoid this extra drive reset?

EDIT: I've confirmed that an extra DVD_Reset call is made when booting from disc that doesn't need to be there. I'll be submitting a pull request at some point but not sure how active the dev is on github.

Thanks, I believe I did post there as well- wherever it was I did catch the main dev's attention and they said they'd take a look at the pull request when they got the chance.

only ps5 updated to latest firmware can go on psn, jailbroken ones just don't use psn or they risk getting flagged or banned, altho spouting profanity in online play alredy does that
