Alright, time for an update.

I noticed a lot of worry about browserhax being blocked. It's partly true BUT, there is away to make it work.
I am running an n3dsxl 9.9 and here is what I found with some experiments.
If I load the browser AFTER,say, 20 seconds or so (after booting my n3ds) it gives me the update message.

As some of you have already read before, I said that some dns changes would save your
N3DS from the browser update message. Turns out I tried Google's DNS and browserhax still launched. Heck, I put my DNS settings to auto and browserhax STILL LOADED FINE!!

I am almost sure of my initial theory right now. It seems that the N3DS speed is KEY here. Yes. N3DS loads everything faster and this doesn't give Nintendo a chance to catch you.
So, my suggestion is that you load the browser as fast as you can. Maybe even install themhax as a backup plan if you have no payloads.
Also, if your internet is slow, browserhax will crash sometimes.
Some people say that they need DNS. Just in case you want it
107.211.140.165 as primary DNS
107.211.140.065 as secondary DNS
OR you can try Google's
008.008.008.008
008.008.004.004

PS: O3ds and 2DS users reported that this method is not working for them. Sorry to hear that...

Ah. Zannen. Lol
I hope they will have a solution for new firmwares :)
Holy shit it works. Thank you. Instantly installed Themehax.
Took nothing but listening to exactly what you said.

Start N3DS (10.0.27 ish) ->Change DNS as you said -> restart -> instantly open Browser -> it will take a bit to load or do anything BUT IT worked!

First time it errored, second time it update messaged, third time was the charm!

Try to enable your internet at boot and load the browser as soon as you see the 3ds booting.

I had the message and tried many times prior today. It worked for me just following what he said exactly.

My N3DS XL = 10.1.0.27U, with message many times prior today.

I'm on a 10.1.0-27E N3DS that is affected with the message. Tried this out, loading the browser straight away at boot, page didn't load. Refreshed and it took a while, but it worked! Nice fix!

Maybe this works only for N3DS? Tried this at my spare 2DS with no luck.
Seeing the posts here, looks like only N3DS users were successful though...

Boot the browser as soons as your 3ds starts. VERY IMPORTANT.
There you go. Your browserhax should work.
I hope this helps.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii

At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

    not really

It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.

RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament

maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
