What did you do before this happened? Does the blue light go on then off when you try to start it? This would mean you don't have arm9loaderhax.bin on the root, or your SD card is faulty, or your console's SD reader is broken.my 3ds won't start, it has black screens after updated it
So can I save it? or should I throw it away?
But updating 2.1.0 is a unrecoverable brick, if i know.https://3ds.guide/9.2.0-ctrtransfer
I was doing this on my Japanese 3DS XL
"Update your 3DS by going to System Settings, then “Other Settings”,
then going all the way to the right and using “System Update” from 2.1.0 I think
probably made some mistakes then bricked it :/
first time trying to get cfw
okay :/ I will get rid of itBut updating 2.1.0 is a unrecoverable brick, if i know.
EDIT: Sleep mode too.
Can you access to arm9loaderhax? do you have a NAND backup? i know only the way to recover it is with your backup and hardmod. :/okay :/ I will get rid of it
my 3ds is black when I start it.. Should push I some buttons or something? Can you access to arm9loaderhax? do you have a NAND backup? i know only the way to recover it is with your backup and hardmod. :/
EDIT: if you have access to arm9loaderhax and Hourglass9.bin, then restore your NAND (Keep AL9H)

Try to remove the SDCard, as gamerquest1 says. keep your nand, don't delete it!my 3ds is black when I start it.. Should push I some buttons or something?
have that Nand thing, it told me to backup
There's your problem. You cannot update directly from 2.1 on a New 3DS. It will cause an automatic brick.new 3ds xl :/
