I didn't set up the PIN. Any ideas on what I can do to solve this?Interesting. The fact that a PIN has been set up may be the cause of your home menu freeze.

someone did, did you get this console as a gift?I didn't set up the PIN. Any ideas on what I can do to solve this?
It's an used 3ds. The thing is, even if I hit ok to place a PIN number, the screen freezes and I can't do anything.someone did, did you get this console as a gift?
so you know the pin? It's an used 3ds. The thing is, even if I hit ok to place a PIN number, the screen freezes and I can't do anything.
No, I don't. But even if I try to type something, it doesn't let me.so you know the pin?
This site requires an inquiry number for the master key. How can I get this information if I can't access anything on my 3ds?It's a shame that the PIN / parental lock wasn't removed prior to the guide being followed, as it will prevent some basic system tasks initialising.
I think a few people have struggled with PIN removal midway through downgrading / installing A9LH, so it might be worth searching older threads for ideas on how to move forward.

Here's a video to show the behavior of the 3ds when I turn it on.

What do you mean? What if you spam the location of the internet browser button before it even shows the menu?
Hey, I actually didn't try that. Will try it and see if it changes anything...Tried a blank freshly formatted sdcard?
Already did thatmaybe try removing the battery for 5 minutes and plug it back ?
So, is there something I can do to fix that? (besides buying another one?)Hmm, the top bar on the top screen never appears. Just like what happens with a bad wifi adapter.
The location of the internet browser button on the homemenu, if you spam it fast enough you might be able to get into it before it freezes. What do you mean?

He can remove the batteryDoomed from the start then if @weidolk didn't check internet connection before going through the hax.
He can remove the battery
aaaa, thanks for clearing that up for me.@The Real Jdbye is suggesting that it is a bad wifi adapter from what he saw in the video then there wouldn't have been internet connection from the beggining.
