Hi, sorry to ask what is likely a super dumb question...
I use Boot NTR to connect my 3DS to Snickerstream and when I try opening it I just get this error message popup

IMG_0302.jpg

My current theory is that the versions may be wrong
(I recently had to manually force Luma to update)
But I have no idea if this theory is correct or how to even attempt to fix it.

Thanks for your time and help
and sorry for being a pain x

Are you using this special Luma version?:

Also make sure to use the latest bootntr selector release. That's what your error is coming from -- it's just that the latest bootntr selector will result in the 3ds crashing unless you use the modified Luma linked above

@fmkid @lilyuwuu

Thanks, guys,
I'm guessing to use the special luma version I just poot the boot.firm here: sd: / luma / plugins / default . 3gx
How do I use the latest selector release? Is it a manual update I have to do?

Apologies am very very much a newbie at all this XD
And thanks again!

p.s. Sorry for the @-ing, was going to reply but new member restrictions didn't like it

Put boot.firm on root of SD, replacing the old one. Install the new bootntr selector cia with Fbi, should replace the old one

Which version of Luma are you running? More important, did you update to 10.3 recently?

not sure if ntr boot selector is even needed anymore. I know luma can do cheats as well as button reassignment, just don't know about displaying on a monitor or something. I haven't checked into that.

Yes I'm on version 10.3
Yeah, I figured - that's why NTR is borked. Poster above me is correct - Nanquitas' fork is the best solution short of rolling back to the previous Luma. At the current maturity of the 3DS hacking scene, there's really no need to update unless the newer version fixes an issue you have, or offers a feature you need.

Yeah I tried it and it didn't work I still get the same error so should I use an older version of luma?
Hmm, try an older version of Nanquitas's fork. Probably 10.2.1 as I think anything older won't work on the latest firmware.

Edit: Oh, 10.x prior to 10.3 was removed... I think v9.1 might also work on the latest firmware so try that one from Nanquitas's fork.

Can I have a link for v9.1?
