Don't know what I could be doing wrong so I'm looking for someone with more experience for diagnostic suggestions.
If I tell my PS2 to launch a legit PS2 game using FreeMcBoot 1.93, it launches just fine. Burned backup copies are not working.
I unpack the ISO from the zip(s), patch the ISO with "ESR Disc Patcher v0.24a", and burn it to Verbatim DVD-R Media at AUTO speed using IMGburn. I let IMGburn verify the disc and all seems to be well. I put the disc into the PS2, tell FreeMcBoot to launch the DVD and the screen goes black. There is no screen flashing or anything, just black.
Mashing the PS2 controller doesn't produce anything. There's no audio that I might be pressing menu options and just unable to see the screen.
Any idea what could be wrong?
