...the one-volume light novel prequel, Kizumonogatari, will be getting an anime adaptation by SHAFT! The story concerns the much-referenced-but-never-shown incident where main character Koyomi Araragi becomes a vampire for a short time at the hands of a pre-loli Shinobu Oshino...

Awesome news IMHO

Unfortunately, this will probably have as many obscenely long delays as Bakemonogatari did, but it should be worth it.

You missed this bit:
" the sequel Nisemonogatari, concerning Araragi's two adorable sisters, will also see an anime adaptation" (this quote is taken out of context... I just want to believe it... even though I don't really see the point in the sister thing...)

But still nice find...

EDIT:Also they say on the article it was "never before shown", they clearly never rewatched the first episode of Bakemonogatari. We see clips of Araragi fighting an adult Shinobu. + there are a few other random clips from "that summer holiday"

To correctly fix my misquote you need the "so perhaps..." the implication could be subtly diffrent... ;~)
